25th years celebration of Indian Culinary Forum & 9th Annual Chef’s Award 2012
Curators of Indian Culinary Forum (ICF) came together to celebrate their successful 25 years in the hospitality industry recently. The event took place at Hotel Hans in New Delhi amidst the curtain raiser of the ‘Chefs Awards 2012’. The upcoming activity, Chef Awards 2012 is hosted annually by ICF on the occasion of international chefs day is scheduled on 19th December 2012 at Hotel Ashoka. Guests were seen jubilating in enthusiasm and zeal while raising a toast to the coming years of ICF. The evening kick started with members of Indian Culinary Forum enlightening the audience with their experiences in the hospitality industry & expressing their bliss to be a part of an exclusive event where chefs are given such an enormous platform to not only perform and showcase their flair in food art and collaborate with the superiors at the international forefront.
Some of the prominent names from the culinary fraternity turned up to add glitter to this day like Chef Davinder Kumar, Chef Sabyasachi Gorai, Chef Manisha Bhasin, Chef Rajesh Variyath, Chef Sudhir Sibal, Chef Vivek Saagar, Chef Suman Sharma, Chef S Zacharia, Chef Manjit Gill, Chef Vinod Bhatti, to name a few. To augment this fiesta, the evening was followed by a cocktail party to commemorate ICF’s upcoming activities.
Anil Bhandari, Chairman, Organizing Committee of Chef Awards said “We are celebrating International Chef’s Day and Chef Awards since 2004 and this is the 9th year in the running. We believe Chef’s are not only the ambassadors of our country, but they also form an integral part of the hospitality industry. During these celebrations chef presents their best of the skill in cooking garnished and served in the platter.”

CHEF AWARDS 2012
Indian Culinary Forum (ICF), supported by Indian Federation of Culinary Association (IFCA) has joined hands to host Chef Awards, 2012 on 19th December, 2012 in New Delhi. This will be consequent 9th year where Chefs will be honored and recognized for their outstanding contribution. International Chefs Day has been marked as a special occasion to recognize a chef as an artist and also to create an awareness of the profession of chefs who have set remarkable industry standards in the art of cooking.
To augment, a four day long (Gourmet Workshop) will be held at Delhi Haats on 12th & 13th December 2012 at Pitampura and 15th & 16th December 2012 at INA.
