Raw Mangoes – 3

Mustard Seeds – 5 gms

Cumin Seeds – 5 gms

Carom Seeds – 5 gms

Asafoetida – 3 gms

Turmeric Powder – 5 gms

Oil – 20 ml

Sugar – 10 gms

Whole Red Chilies – 5

Water – 50ml


How to cook: 

Peel off the skin of raw mangoes

Slice the mangoes into big pieces

Heat some mustard or refined oil in a flying pan

Add some cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chilies to the frying pan

Add the mango slices to the oil after the seeds splutter

Mix some sugar with the mango slices and then, add some water

Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes till the mango slices feel soft

Switch off the burner one the gravy becomes thick
